At Pegasus, we believe in making your fitness journey seamless and straightforward. Here's everything you need to know about our operations:
Memberships:
Our memberships operate on a flexible one-month rolling contract via the Ashbourne Management Membership System. Cancelling is hassle-free with just one month's (30 days) notice from the day you request it through our reception team or via email.
If you are signed into a 12 month contract, any early terminations will result in your contract being paid in full. There are no exceptions or reasons that will change this. Whatever amount if remaining on your contract will be charged as one lump sum. Failure to meet this payment will then result in debt collection.
To upgrade or downgrade your membership, consult with our reception team for a smooth transition.
We appreciate loyalty. Enjoy consistent rates, regardless of market fluctuations. However, if you cancel your membership, this loyalty feature is forfeited. Rejoining after cancellation due to financial hiccups? You've got a 24-hour window via our app. Questions? Reach out to our management team at

Membership Cancellation Policy One Month Rolling Contracts:
To maintain transparency and ensure a smooth cancellation process:
- Provide a minimum of 30 days' notice for cancellation at reception or via email (Only) This is for the one month rolling contract members.
- Cancelling a direct debit doesn't end your financial obligations; fulfill remaining payments.
- Even without the 30-day notice, settle outstanding fees. Ashbourne will add their own admin fee's if they have to pursue you regarding payment. Failure to follow the cancellation policy will see any debt passed to a collection agency.
- No exceptions are considered.
- You will receive written confirmation upon cancellation by us and Ashbourne.
Membership Cancellation Policy Twelve Month Contracts:
To maintain transparency and ensure a smooth cancellation process:
- Cancelling a direct debit doesn't end your financial obligations in a 12 month contract; fulfill remaining payments.
- No exceptions are considered.
- If you cancel a direct debit during your 12 month contract, the remainder of your contract will be billed to you.
- Failure to settle your 12 month contract will result in your debt being passed to a debt collection agency. This will incur extra charges (£50) posed by the collection agency on top of the remainder of your contract.
- Cancel your membership in the 11th month of your 12 month contract. This would be to end its term without renewing into a further 12 month contract.
- You will receive written confirmation upon cancellation by us and Ashbourne.
Personal Membership Cancellation Policy:
Our Pegasus PT memberships operate on a one month rolling contract. Please notify your personal trainer on your last week of training (or 5 days before your direct debit renewal date) if you wish to cancel your personal training. We do accept cash as an alternative payment method for Personal Training, please speak to us if you wish to do so.
Refunds will not apply if these terms and conditions are breached.
Membership Freeze or Suspension:
Need a break? Freeze your membership with 7 days' notice, up to a maximum of 2 months within 12 months.
Refunds and Prorated Fees:
Fees are non-refundable, and we don't prorate for partial months - unless upgrading your membership.
Day Pass:
Enjoy a one-time use on any staffed day (Only during Staffed Hours) of your choice.
Freezing Membership:
In-person freezing with 7 days' notice of the date you wish to start, up to 2 months within a 12-month period.
Class Bookings:
No showing to a class 3 times in a month will result in a two week ban. Further no shows after this ban will result in further and longer ban or membership cancellation.
Personal Training:
Book with management at reception, and cancel at least 24 hours in advance.
Offers and Promotions:
Pegasus have the right to rescind any offer at any time. If you don't follow the process of signing up to an offer correctly, we will not change the error. There is a promotional page where any code can be redeemed. If you do not enter the correct code, in the correct place we will not honour the promotion. Please follow all directions carefully to stop missing out on our offers. With the one month free offer, you will be obliged to make your first payment in the second month before a cancellation period can start.
24 Hour Access / Fob Entry / Security / Profile Photo:
With each membership, you will receive your very own key fob. This will gain you access to the building at any time. The gym will be secure for the majority of the day. Meaning you will need your key fob to enter as well as exit the building. The gym will be manned between the hours of 9am and 9pm (Monday to Friday) and 10am-5pm (Saturday/Sunday/Bank Holidays) these are also the hours you can collect your fob.
A £10 joining fee will be taken on sign up to secure your fob on your first visit. (this is not a deposit)
To access the gym between the hours of 9pm and 9am you must be on a membership that isn't the 'kids' membership and you must have a key fob.
Memberships will be revoked if members are seen to be allowing others in on their key fob and/or sharing key fobs. Each individual person requires to sign in with the key fob upon entry.
With the last point in mind - we request that all members have a photo taken at reception. This will be assigned against your membership profile. This is for Security/Health & Safety Purposes. Your photo will only appear on your profile on our system.
If a membership lapses due to a lack of funds and you wish to sign up again, you will need to see a member of the management team to retain your membership price and keep your fob active. We will allow this to happen a maximum of three times in a calendar year. If this situation arises more than three times, you will have lost the loyalty bonus of keeping your rates.
Important Notice -
Dear Pegasus Member,
We hope this message finds you well. As a valued member of our gym community, we want to take a moment to remind you about the terms and conditions regarding 24-hour gym access, with a particular focus on the use of access fobs and the policy regarding non-member guests.
Access Fob Requirement:
To ensure the security and safety of all members, it is mandatory for every individual to possess a valid access fob for entry into the gym outside of staffed hours. This fob serves as a personal identifier and enables us to maintain accurate records of who is present in our facility. Please remember to carry your access fob with you at all times and present it upon entry at the door.
Sign-In Procedure:
In addition to the access fob requirement, we kindly request that all members sign in upon entry at the door, even during staffed hours. This procedure helps us maintain an accurate record of attendance, assists in emergency situations, and ensures that our facilities are used exclusively by authorized individuals.
Non-Member Guest Policy:
Recently, we have noticed an increase in instances where members have been allowing non-member friends to enter the gym using their access fobs. We would like to emphasize that this is strictly against our policies and terms of service. Non-members are not covered by our liability insurance and may pose a risk to themselves and others if they do not possess the necessary knowledge or experience to use the equipment properly.
Consequences of Unauthorized Entry:
Effective immediately, we want to make it explicitly clear that any member found allowing non-member friends access to the gym using their access fob will face serious consequences. These may include the revocation of 24-hour key privileges and, in severe cases, a potential ban from the premises. We take this matter seriously in order to preserve the safety, comfort, and exclusivity of our gym environment.
We kindly request your cooperation in adhering to these policies and regulations. By doing so, we can maintain a secure and enjoyable fitness experience for all members. Classes:
Book responsibly; repeated cancellations may have consequences. Classes with less than 3 bookings may be canceled with 1 hour notice. No cancellations within 1 hour of the class. A no-show fee applies.
Miss three classes without cancellation? Lose advanced booking privileges; a £10 fee to re-establish.
